Quote 10 Mar

“Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by

demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat,

worry, and die, it can introduce the idea

that if Airplanewe try and understand each

other, we may even become friends.”

Never Forget

11 Sep

“The attacks of September 11th were intended to break our spirit. Instead we have emerged stronger and more unified. We feel renewed devotion to the principles of political, economic, and religious freedom, the rule of law and respect for human life. We are more determined than ever to live our lives in freedom.”

~Rudolph Giuliani,  former mayor of New York City

Fortune Cookie

3 Jul

While the fortunes in fortune cookies don’t usually mean anything and are sometimes funny (one time I got a fortune that said “that’s the way the cookie crumbles” haha very humorous).  However, the last one I received actually meant something and was appropriate since I love traveling and I always learn something when traveling.  Whether it is about the place I am visiting (culture, people) or about myself.
